SWT Slotted Riser Tubes are machined from high quality PVC pipe, slotted, and plugged at one end. The other end is available with either a chamfered slip connection or MNPT adapter. The open area of slots in the riser tube is engineered to be equal to or greater than 1.5 times the cross-sectional open area of the pipe. This insures minimal pressure drop when in service.

SWT Molded Basket Riser Tubes are fabricated from high quality PVC pipe and sturdy ABS baskets. They are an economical alternative to SWT Slotted Riser Tubes. The riser tube and basket are shipped assembled with the slip end of the riser tube chamfered for easy insertion into the O-ring seal of a valve or tank head.
