The SWT Brine Valve is reliable because it has four primary checks that prevent excessive brine draw or overfill. Considering the consequences of either of these conditions, the added security of the SWT brine valve in your system is well worth the investment. During power outage, the main control valve can remain stuck open in the brine draw mode or the brine refill mode. These conditions can cause water to overfill the brine tank or allow a wasted amout of brine solution to be wasted to the drain. Using brine valves will prevent the potentially damaging result because it is equipped with a safety back-up float and a check that closes the paths to and from the brine tank.

This valve is widley used with automatic multicycle control valves such as Autotrol, Fleck, Clack, etc. There are four distinct adjustable designs which allow the valve to be used in a wide variety of applications. These designs are as follows:

Type A: This type of valve has a factory preset brine draw level and adjustable brine refill float.

Type B: This type of valve has an adjustable brine draw level and brine refill float.

Type C: This type of valve has a factory preset brine draw level and adjustable brine refill float with overhead refill. Overhead design is used in large or odd-shaped brine tanks where refill water needs to be dispersed over a large area. The overhead refill design allows for connection of tubing to be located as needed.

Type D: This type of valve has an adjustable brine draw level and brine refill float with overhead refill.
