Safe Water Technologies' Residential Point-of-Entry Granular Activated Carbon Filters are built utilizing SWT's ProActive carbon — the best grade of non-viscous, coal based, virgin, steam activated carbon available. These filters are designed to be high quality, taste, odor, chlorine, color, and chemical reduction filters. Plus, these systems now feature SWT's new Cyclonic Distributor System to provide full bed contact, less channeling, and superior backwashing (see below).
