Designed for
use in small community water filtration applications MetalEase-61™
can help to ensure that your treatment plant becomes, or remains,
EPA compliant. |
 |
MetalEase-61™ has excellent filtration capabilities and
has the added ability of oxidizing and capturing dissolved metals
such as iron, arsenic, hydrogen sulfide, lead, copper, etc.
It also has been successfully used on uranium, barium, and radium.
It can be used as a stand alone filtration media
or as an added layer in a sand or multimedia filter system.
Many times, existing equipment can be utilized just by changing
the existing filter media to MetalEase-61™ and adjusting
the backwash rate. The media requires no chemical regeneration.
Vigorous backwashing keeps the bed clean.
MetalEase-61™ is ANSI/NSF-61
compliant. It covers a wide range
of applications. The 12 x 40 mesh particle distribution and
angular shape make this an excellent media for depth filtration.
